Overview
Defence Corporate Communication (DCC) is part
of the Defence Administration programme and
provides reliable, professional and cost
efficient services to the DOD, supported by an
achievable strategic plan. This is directed and
accomplished through an accepted Strategic
Direction Process.
Its aim is to provide a corporate
communication capability and service to the DOD.
CDCC plays a strategic role as an integral part
of the management team and of the decision
making process in the DOD. Government
acknowledges and supports the strategic role of
corporate communication in the public service
and in service delivery, and requires a single
Head of Communication (HOC) across each Ministry
and Department. Communication in and by the DOD
is not only done by DCC, but primarily by the
command and management cadre at all levels. |
