UNITED KINGDOM ASSISTS WITH CAPACITY BUILDING OF PSAP PERSONNEL THROUGH PROJECT CLIPPER: 4 MAY 2006

The Ashridge College, UK Training, for PSAP will be hosting an annual one-day alumni event for personnel of the DOD, on 4 May 2006.

The event will be held at 09h00 at the St George Hotel in Pretoria. Members are encouraged to attend, and the presence of guests at this event would be highly appreciated.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) of the United Kingdom will sponsor the programme.

The theme for the Alumni Event is “Turning Strategy into Action”.

Meanwhile, issues involving the employer of choice, corporate image, and measuring performance (balance scorecard) will be intensively discussed.

The programme is a genuine Alumni Event to revitalize management skills, and will afford attendees the opportunity to refresh their thinking about leadership, share their experiences in applying their learning and build a network of key managers.

The purpose of the event is the achievement of learning outcomes, which includes learning with new thinking, new tools and techniques, Ect thus offering a fresh incentive to keep this learning alive.

Secondly, the attendance of various leaders from the public and private sectors alike will mark the event.
